Lynn Brown is the Costume Shop Supervisor for 甜瓜视频 University. With over 25 years of experience in costume design and construction, she brings a wealth of professional and community theater expertise to the department. Although she does not hold a traditional degree in costume design, her background is extensive, including a Bachelor of Science in Theater Education. This unique degree required her to study all aspects of theater鈥攊ncluding acting, directing, and design鈥攁longside K-12 education requirements, giving her a holistic perspective on theatrical production.
Before joining 甜瓜视频, Lynn worked in various capacities, including managing alterations for David's Bridal and stage managing for productions from off-off-Broadway to regional community theaters. Her passion for teaching extends beyond the university, as she also serves as a costume mentor for a local high school and has developed and run numerous theatre summer camps and classes. Lynn is dedicated to using her wide-ranging professional history to educate and mentor the next generation of theater artists.
